Herzlich Willkommen zum Africa Day 2017!

Der jährliche Africa Day (25. bis 28. Mai 2017), zu dem wir Sie auch in diesem Jahr wieder herzlich einladen, ist für Hamburg zu einer etablierten Veranstaltung geworden, bei der seit 2012 die afrikanischen und die deutschen Mitbürger/innen ein farbenfrohes, mitreißendes und inspirierendes Fest der Kulturen Afrikas feiern. Über 10.000 Besucher kamen im vergangenen Jahr zu der interkulturellen Veranstaltung des Vereins IMIC e.V. (www.imicenter.com) auf dem Wandsbeker Marktplatz. Umrahmt von einer Zeltstadt mit Open-Air-Bühne wollen wir auch 2017 an die Gründung der Organisation für Afrikanische Einheit am 25. Mai 1963 erinnern und gemeinsam feiern, mit vibrierender Musik, mitreißenden Tanzvorführungen, spannenden Dialogen und exotischen Speisen.

Eröffnet wird der „Africa Day 2017“ wie bereits im vergangenen Jahr am 24. Mai 2017 mit einem „Investment Forum“. Die Tagung dient der Intensivierung der Wirtschaftsbeziehungen zwischen der Hansestadt und Afrika und bietet wieder ein hochkarätiges Networking, das Unternehmer und politische Entscheider zusammenbringt und durch zukunftsorientierte Projekte und Joint Ventures Arbeitsplätze schaffen soll.

Welcome to Africa Day 2017!

The annual Africa Day (25th to 28th May 2017), which we would like to invite you to again this year, has become an established event for Hamburg. Since 2012 the African and German citizens have a colorful, enthralling and inspiring festival of the different cultures of Africa. More than 10,000 visitors came to the intercultural event of the IMIC e.V. (www.imicenter.com) at the Wandsbeker Marktplatz last year. The backdrop of tents and the open-air stage, recalls the founding of the organization of the African Unity on 25 May 1963 - celebrating with vibrant music, exciting dance shows, exciting dialogues and exotic dishes.

The Africa Day 2017 will be opened with an Africa Day Investment Forum on 24th May 2017 as last year. The conference is aimed at intensifying economic relations between the Hanseatic City of Hamburg and Africa and again provides a top-class networking that brings entrepreneurs and political decision-makers together and creates jobs through future-oriented projects and joint ventures.
