UNTERNEHMER OHNE GRENZEN CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF SELFLESS SERVICE.

IMIC e.V. is pleased to have participated in the 10th anniversary celebration of “Unternehmer Ohne Grenzen” (UoG e.V), the family support organisation for immigrants in Germany.

“Together for Families” is the theme of the 10th-anniversary celebration of UoG e.V

The event which was held on June 4, 2024, at the Zinnschmelze Hall in Hamburg, celebrated several projects undertaken by the UoG e.V to guide immigrant families through the rigours of integrating properly into German society.

Through its “Elternlotsen” or Family Guide project, UoG e.V has exposed families with immigrant backgrounds to equal opportunities in Germany in the areas of family life, education, health and work.

For more than 10 years, the project, which is funded by the social welfare authority, has been supporting the integration and social participation of immigrant families in currently 7 project areas in Hamburg.

The focus of the celebration was the appreciation of the effort of the organisation’s volunteers who have provided excellent services to families. Their activities were the highlight of a short film prepared by UoG e.V.

The panel discussion at the event also put a spotlight on the success stories and challenges in the past 10 years of project work.
